Youth Development Center
The Youth Development Center (YDC) is an RCL 12 residential treatment facility for adolescent males between the ages of 13-17 in need of substance abuse treatment. The home is a six bed facility located in Riverside County, California. The residential treatment program is based on a therapeutic community model. The fundamental assumption underlying YDC is that recovery from substance abuse requires change of the whole person psychologically, socially, and behaviorally.
Youth Development Center Specific Treatment Focus:
At YDC, a variety of intensive treatment services are offered specifically designed to meet each resident’s needs including:
- Substance abuse treatment, including testing and relapse prevention
- Individual, Family and Group Counseling
- Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Aggression Replacement Training
- Medication Management by a Board Certified Psychiatrist
- 12-Step Meetings
- Independent Living Skills
- Mentors
- Tutoring Services
- After-Care
S.T.E.P.S.
S.T.E.P.S. and S.T.E.P.S.II (probation)
Success Through Emancipation Preparation Services (S.T.E.P.S) is a program of two RCL 12 residential treatment facilities providing care and support to adolescent males between the ages of 16-17 and Non-Minor Dependents (18-21) designed to prepare them for successful emancipation and independent living. The homes are six bed facilities located in Riverside County, California. This residential treatment program is based on a therapeutic community model.
S.T.E.P.S Specific Treatment Focus:
At S.T.E.P.S., a variety of intensive treatment services are offered and specifically designed to meet each resident’s unique needs including:
- Individual, Family and Group Counseling
