CAN believes in and works diligently to preserve the family unit through the provision of various interventions and supportive services. However, if deemed necessary for a child to be removed from their home, CAN strives to provide a safe, warm and inclusive foster family environment to allow the child to thrive.

CAN ensures that our families and children have access to all the available community resources so they can deal effectively with their various bio-psychosocial stressors in order to strengthen the family unit. CAN is committed to maintaining a holistic service delivery approach that supports children and their biological parents and/or alternative caregivers and ensures that child safety is always the top priority.
