COMMUNITY ACCESS NETWORK, (C.A.N.) is a private, non-profit 501 C (3) corporation formed for the purpose of providing social services to children and families. Since April of 2002, the agency has been providing program development and consultation services to a number of foster family agencies, adoption agencies, residential care and family preservation programs. CAN is headed by a group of professionals in the social work field with years of experience in administration, fiscal management, social work, clinical services and advocacy. The agency’s board of directors is comprised of five members with various fiscal, social work and counseling experience and expertise.
CAN provides a multitude of services to families and children affected by child abuse and neglect, substance abuse, domestic violence, mental health challenges, and difficulty integrating into society due to inequality and various psychosocial stressors. Currently, the agency supplies its services in three RCL 12 group homes, a foster family agency, outpatient mental health clinics, therapeutic behavioral services, and other supportive services geared towards assisting families and children in achieving a higher level of functioning. CAN provides these services at two office locations, Corona and Lake Elsinore, and three residential care sites as well as in-home services to foster children.
